Selci defies convention, composing sounds that inhabit the daring fringes of pop music. Trained in the realms of opera, contemporary, and classical music, she’s a sonic alchemist, effortlessly melding the rebellious spirit of iconoclastic electronics and the pulsating rhythms of dance music with the avant-garde nuances of chamber pop and ethereal ambience.

Selci's groundbreaking double album, "Fallen Woman 1 + 2," burst onto the scene in 2022, co-produced and masterfully mixed by none other than Grammy Award-winning sonic visionaries Sylvia Massy and Mark Lawson. At the heart of the music lies a testament to Selci’s fearless approach to innovation. Each track is a testament to Selci's formidable vocal prowess and her boundless creativity as a producer. This record is not just an album; it's an exhilarating celebration of modern relationships and a heartfelt tribute to the women who, like her, have defied convention throughout history - the “fallen women”.

Selci's journey began in 2018, and since then, she has been on an unstoppable ascent. Her discography boasts a series of EPs and singles that have resonated with audiences across Canada. The critical acclaim for her work has poured in from authoritative voices like CBC, The Sunday Times, Indie 88, Refinery 29, and a host of others. Notably, her EP "A Soft Place" soared to national heights on college radio and reigned supreme as the #1 electronic album on Calgary's CJSW in 2020. The momentum only grew with the release of "Fallen Woman” as it rocketed to #2 and #3 on the electronic charts across the nation's community radio stations.

The journey has just begun as Selci will be hitting the road once again in 2023, treating her fans to a whirlwind of live performances across Canada, and opening a new studio in her Toronto home-base where she’ll be creating her next masterpiece over the winter.
